Turn your holiday into a little adventure: many of our Romantik® hotels offer high-quality e-bikes for hire and have the most beautiful routes right on their doorstep - through green forests, past tranquil lakes or over small hills. Back at the hotel: dust on your calves, a little exhausted, very satisfied, battery empty, heart full. After the tour, a hot shower awaits, a good dinner and perhaps a glass of wine on the terrace. This is what a holiday feels like when exercise and relaxation go together perfectly.

FAQ Frequently asked Questions and Answers
An e-bike is a bicycle with an electric motor that supports pedalling. The most common models are so-called pedelecs, which provide assistance up to 25 km/h.
No driving licence is required for pedelecs (up to 25 km/h). For S-pedelecs (up to 45 km/h), you need a category AM driving licence and insurance.
Depending on the model, riding style and terrain, between 50 and 150 kilometres. Factors such as incline, weight and assistance level have a strong influence on the range.
Usually between 3 and 6 hours. Some fast chargers can also charge faster.
Pedelecs always require pedalling - the motor only provides assistance. Fully automatic e-bikes are rare in the EU and are classed as mopeds.
Battery range, charging options en route, weather, accommodation options and suitable luggage are important points.
Many of our Romantik® Hotels offer charging stations. Please enquire directly at the hotel or find out more on the website. There are also options on the road - for example at campsites or petrol stations.
Yes, it makes sense to always have the charger with you. It should be stowed safely in your luggage.
Between 50 and 90 kilometres per day are easily achievable - depending on fitness, terrain and charging times.
Then you can continue cycling as normal - the e-bike pedals like a normal bike, but with more difficulty. Plan charging breaks in good time.
