Important security notice regarding your booking

At our technical service provider DIRS, whose booking system is used to process reservations on romantikhotels.com, a phishing attack occurred on 21.10.2026. Based on current knowledge, unauthorised access was gained to guests' booking data. Our own systems are not affected.

We have informed our data protection officer and the responsible data protection supervisory authority and are working closely with DIRS to investigate the matter. We are contacting guests whose data is affected directly.

Please remain vigilant

Fraudsters often use such data for fake messages referring to genuine bookings. At present, this is happening mainly via WhatsApp, but also by e-mail or SMS.

• Do not enter any credit card, bank or other payment details in response to such a message.
• Do not click on any links contained in it and do not open any attachments.
• We and our hotels will never ask you to make a payment via WhatsApp.
• If in doubt, contact the hotel only via the contact details on its official website or in your booking confirmation.
