At Romantik®, dog-friendly means first and foremost that you can bring your four-legged friend to the hotel for an overnight stay and that your dog is very welcome in the hotel. Further regulations and individual offers vary from hotel to hotel. Amenities may include extras such as dog beds, food and water bowls, welcome packs with treats and toys or dog-sitting and dog-salon services.
Most dog-friendly hotels welcome dogs of all breeds, but there may be exceptions. Some hotels have restrictions on certain breeds or sizes. Check the hotel's policy before booking.
Yes, the hotels charge an additional fee for accommodating dogs. This fee can vary between €10 and €40 per night. The fee is often used to cover the additional cleaning costs. If damage is caused, you will incur further costs. Please contact the relevant Romantik® Hotel for more information.

Not necessarily. Some hotels have certain rooms or floors, for example with vinyl or wooden floors, which are reserved for guests with dogs. It is important to check at the time of booking whether the desired room is permitted for dogs. Wellness rooms or suites are often excluded.
Even in dog-friendly hotels, well-behaved dogs should adhere to a few rules. The rules vary from hotel to hotel. Dogs often have to be kept on a lead and are not allowed in certain areas of the hotel, such as the wellness area or restaurants. If the dog is left alone in the room, this should be marked accordingly with a door hanger as a notice for the cleaning staff.
As a rule, guests are liable for any damage caused by their dogs. Some hotels require a deposit, which is retained in the event of damage.
