Meeting Room Offers

Very bright with its many windows, the Grande Salle is perfect for receptions, banquets or seminars in Sugiez. The room can cater for about 70 people and many different types of layout are available to organisers. The interior has been designed to create a soothing atmosphere: white orchids at the windows, piano and bar counter from the 1920s, a functional space…

When the weather is fine, make your way to the terrace next to the Grande Salle. This flower-covered space offers you the chance to prolong your work session or organise a reception with a sit-down meal. Around a buffet of grilled meat or refined dishes, the place offers you the chance to admire the setting sun while you dine.

More suited to work sessions or small family reunions, from banquets to business meals, the Havana Club is a warm and private room. Offering comfort and discretion, this room can be adapted to all types of small receptions involving about 10 to 24 people. Wooden ceilings and walls from a traditional house in the Bern region, old furniture, upright piano, Chesterfield sofa, a glazed cabinet, it is a place of great charm.

On the southern slope of the Mont Vully vineyard, around 150 ha of vines dominate the landscape. An exciting theme trail leads from Sugiez through the idyllic vineyards to Môtier and provides vivid information about winegrowing in the region. Mont Vully itself is a protected nature reserve and at the highest point you can enjoy a fantastic panorama over Lake Murten, the Pre-Alps and the Alps. Looking north, you can also catch a glimpse of the neighbouring Jura lakes.

On Mont Vully you will experience magic around the numerous enchanted forest paths and mystical sites. An oppidum with a rampart from the time of the Helvetians and cave-like grottos from the First World War will immerse you in times long past.

In addition to natural diversity, the region also has many culturally exciting places to offer. On the southern shore, Murten is particularly famous for its almost completely preserved ring wall, the only accessible structure of its kind in Switzerland. The historic, well-preserved old town and the lakeside promenade also provide variety. In the Murten Museum you can learn background information about the culture and history of the region.

In the very south of Lake Morat, you can immerse yourself in the Roman history of the Roman town of Avenches. Here you will find ancient Roman sites such as the famous amphitheatre. A music festival is also held there every year.
