The Tides Boutique Hotel by Romantik® is located in the small coastal town of Norden, not far from the North Sea. It is a place that is currently reinventing itself—looking to the future, nestled between historic half-timbered buildings and a spirit of urban renewal. Narrow alleys, small paths, and quiet corners wind through our buildings. The rooms and suites are individually designed and reflect the character of the hotel: sometimes serene, sometimes striking, always with a sense of arrival. After a day at the coast—wind in your face, salt on your skin—warmth, retreat, and time for yourself await inside. At the AMBER restaurant, the atmosphere is both lively and serene: creative cuisine, clean flavors, a glass of wine to carry you through the evening. The wellness area brings you back to yourself.
The hotel is currently in the final stages of its creative renovation. Starting in mid-April, the new dining concept at AMBER will launch—step by step.

Family-owned since 1956, the hotel is now run by the third generation. What began as a classic hotel has grown over the years into a complex of several buildings—linked by history and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 pm on the day of arrival. Of course, you can also arrive earlier and leave your luggage at reception. If you would like to check into your room earlier, please contact the hotel and ask about the availability of an early check-in.
You can check out until 11 am on the day of departure. If you wish to leave your room later, please ask the hotel for a late check-out.
Enter the destination “Doornkaatlohne 17” in your navigation system. The short-term parking lot is located here and you can easily load and unload. A luggage trolley is also available next to the entrance. At check-in you will receive a key for the hotel's own parking lot. There is a charge of €9 per night.
Yes, there are four e-charging stations available in the hotel's own parking lot. You can use these for a fee during your stay. You will receive a card to activate them at reception. The fees (incl. €9/night for the parking lot) are €15/night for hybrid vehicles and €30/night for electric cars.
Yes, there is a locked bicycle shed in front of the parking lot bridge. You can safely store your bike here. You can obtain the key from reception.

Upon registration, a surcharge of €25 per night will be charged for your faithful companion.
To ensure your vacation gets off to a relaxing start, a welcome package awaits in your room, including a bowl, a dog towel, and a small gift. Mindful coexistence is the foundation: Dogs are warmly welcomed at the Amber Restaurant with prior reservation, while the wellness area is reserved for two-legged guests. This ensures that the stay is a truly relaxing experience for both humans and pets.

The nearest North Sea beach is around 6 kilometers away in Norddeich.
The North Sea islands of Juist and Norderney are easily accessible by ferry from Norddeich. A ferry sails to Norderney several times a day; the crossings to Juist are heavily dependent on the tides. Day trips to Borkum, Baltrum or Langeoog are also possible.
Bathrobes, slippers, towels and a bathing bag are provided in the rooms for your stay.
There is no age limit for using the swimming pool. Children aged 12 and over may also use the sauna area if accompanied by an adult.

Nach Norden aus Richtung Bremen kommend gelangen Sie über die Autobahnen A28 und A31. Die Bundesstraße B72 führt Sie direkt in die Stadt. Nehmen Sie die Stadtausfahrt B72 und folgen Sie der Bahnhofsstraße über den Burggraben (Brücke). Nehmen Sie nach der Brücke im Kreisverkehr die erste Ausfahrt und folgen Sie der Dammstraße, dann biegen Sie links in Ihre Zielstraße ein.
Der Bahnhof Norden befindet sich nur etwa 650 Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Folgen Sie der Bahnhofstraße Richtung Fluss und überqueren Sie die Brücke. Nehmen Sie beim Kreisverkehr die erste Ausfahrt in Richtung Dammstraße. Etwa 200 Meter weiter biegen Sie links in die Zielstraße ein.
