Your hosts

The Seeschlösschen was built in 1999 on the former fields of the Rietzke farm. Planned, built and furnished by host Maik Zander, the house was developed together with his wife Anett into a four-star superior wellness hotel with a distinctive character: old wood, natural stone, wrought iron elements and romantic, winding architecture. Every detail tells of the vision and passion of the hosts.

Here, the region's archetypal, earthy, warm flavours meet the delicate, balanced lightness of Ayurvedic cuisine. Homemade classics sit side by side with fragrant spices reminiscent of tropical gardens. The result is a pleasure that is both familiar and surprising – a dialogue between two worlds that nourishes body and soul and makes eating a sensual experience.

Schlossteichstuben

The Schlossteichstuben combines diversity with atmosphere: three rooms, each with its own character. Two elegant private rooms for quiet moments of enjoyment, the main restaurant with its striking purple sofa islands, and the light-flooded orangery with a view of the castle pond. The menu ranges from authentic Seeschlößchen cuisine to a finely balanced fine dining menu based on classic French cuisine.

Cocktail bar

The in-house cocktail bar is baroque elegance with a touch of extravagance: colourful seating from Bretz, luxurious details, a velvety pool table and the warm amber light of the cocktail bar create an atmosphere full of energy, style and sophistication. Creative cocktails from all over the world are served here, making even midnight an experience.

Breakfast

A morning full of lightness: the day begins pleasantly and relaxed in the breakfast lounge. Fragrant coffee and lovingly arranged themed buffets await you in the salon, which taste a little different every morning – colourful, fresh and full of ideas. Take a seat in the light-flooded conservatories with sweeping views over the lake. In addition to the buffet, a small, fine selection of egg dishes and warming Ayurvedic porridge dishes are served. A gentle start to the day that is good for both body and soul. Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The Seeschlößchen Lounge is a space full of variety: relax at the bar or in the library, play a round of billiards or enjoy a film in the home cinema. The ‘Gute Stube’ offers space for smaller games, while the fireplace room provides warmth and cosiness. The winter garden and the lake view terrace offer panoramic views of the lake – perfect places to combine peace, enjoyment and conviviality.

Wellness bistro

Wellness guests are welcomed in the cosy wellness bistro in the wellness garden. Located directly in front of the Schlossteichstuben, surrounded by the greenery of the wetland biotope and castle pond, you can dine in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere in your bathrobe every day from 12 noon to 10 p.m. The bistro menu includes salads, soups, curries, hearty meat dishes and light desserts.

Lutki hut

Take the A13 motorway (Dresden–Berlin). Take the Freienhufen or Ruhland exit towards Senftenberg / Hoyerswerda (B169). Then follow the signs towards Senftenberg and, shortly after leaving the town, take the signposted entrance to the hotel.
