The Romantik Waldhotel is a family business. Brothers Jochen and Hans-Jörgen Mangold are the third generation to run the house in Milchborntal. Their daughter Hannah already lives the tradition, which naturally includes the house dog Cenia. In 2014, Hans (at the age of 86!) and Uta Mangold handed over the management of the Romantik-Waldhotel Mangold to their two sons Hans-Jörgen and Jochen Mangold. However, it is still impossible to imagine the daily routine without the parents: as residents of the extensive grounds in Milchborntal, they are still a natural part of the hotel's operations.

The room is available from 15:00. Reception is open until 20:00. If you arrive later or are delayed, please inform the hotel in good time. If you arrive earlier, the team will be happy to take your luggage if your room is not yet ready. Early check-in is also possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Yes, the Romantik Hotel offers a parking space with electricity and water connection for motorhomes in the parking lot. This is available for short-term stays, for example when passing through on vacation. Please note, however, that the hotel does not have full facilities for motorhomes. There are no chemical toilets or shower facilities for motorhome guests. For this reason, the motorhome site should only be used for short stays. Yes, the hotel welcomes your four-legged friend. However, please inform the hotel in advance. A fee of 15.00 euros per day will be charged for each dog. In addition, your four-legged friend should always be kept on a lead on the grounds.

Only 20 kilometres from Cologne city centre, the Romantik Waldhotel Mangold is idyllically located in the countryside. Take the A4 to Bergisch Gladbach and leave the A4 at Overather Straße. Follow Overather Straße for 1.2 km and then turn right onto Am Stockbrunnen, follow Wipperfürther Straße and after 200 metres turn left onto Kadettenstraße and then left onto Nikolausstraße. Then turn right onto Am Milchbornsweg and after about 300 metres turn left onto Milchborntalweg. After 100 metres turn right onto Am Milchbornbach and you will find the hotel on the right-hand side.
