"The moment is mine"
The historic hotel from 1640 offers warm comfort for a relaxing and pleasant vacation. The Sun is located in the center of the spa town, away from any street noise, just a few steps from the forest, park and the unique Cassiopeia thermal bath. An excellent cuisine of regional and Mediterranean delicacies contributes to the culinary well-being and offers exquisite wines.

Our hosts
Once the house was managed by the host family Reinhardt in several generations. In 1993, Vittorio and Renate Esposito put the finishing touches on the hotel. The Esposito couple brought the passion of their Italian homeland to the Badenweiler Sonne. As a matter of course, the best regional Markgräfler tradition was combined with the Sorrento way of life to create a new ambience, which rightly gave the time-honored Gasthaus zur Sonne new splendor. Since 2009, the Sonne has been carefully and stylishly run by son Michele and his wife Nora Esposito. Their employees call themselves the "sun spirits".
