Our hosts
During a stay in our house, you will get to know the host families Filippo Ris & Sandra and Daniel Heiserer up close. The lakeside castle has been in the family for 70 years and has been extensively renovated and modernised time and again. In the process, granite portals, mosaic floors and wall and ceiling paintings were uncovered in months of painstaking work, restored and lovingly integrated into the hotel structure. Today, the "Castello" is one of the most dazzling landmarks in Ascona and the hosts look forward to letting you in on the secrets of the lake castle.

Take the A1 motorway / Bellinzona Sud exit and follow the expressway (T 21) in the direction of Locarno/Ascona/Brissago.
Take the Ascona exit after the tunnel
At the roundabout go straight on (approx. 1 km) until the beginning of the pedestrian zone/post office of Ascona.
Turn left into "Viale Papio" and keep to the right side of the road.
After approx. 200 m turn right following the signs for "Parkplatz LAGO" and turn right at the roundabout and continue along the road until you reach the lake (approx. 200 m).
On the right-hand side, at the beginning of the pedestrian zone by the lake, you will find the "Castello Seeschloss" with its turret.
You can drive up by car directly in front of the hotel. We will be happy to explain to you on site the various possibilities where you can park your car for the duration of your stay.
