Founded in 1877 as a family business, the former post office in one of the most beautiful villages of the Lüneburg Heath is always worth a visit. "Experience peace and harmony - do something good for yourself". That is the motto of our approximately 200 m² feel-good oasis. Here you can take the time to let your soul dangle. Look forward to wonderful relaxation in the Finnish sauna or switch off in the bio sauna. There is also an infrared heat cabin, a small fitness area and a spacious relaxation area with a view of our park-like garden.

In addition to our wellness oasis, you also have the option of booking massage treatments by prior arrangement before your arrival. Our experienced and professional partner for our wellness treatments is the "Practice for Physiotherapy Mathias Strampe". You have the choice between a soothing aromatic oil back massage or a relaxing full body massage. Lymphatic drainage or relaxing hand and foot reflexology massages are also available in our house.

A7 from Hamburg / Bremen

If you are travelling on the A7 motorway from Hamburg, Bremen or the south, we recommend that you leave the motorway at the Soltau-Süd exit and take the B3 towards Bergen. After about four kilometres, turn right towards Wietzendorf (bypass road). Follow this road until you reach a crossroads. Cross this straight on in the direction of Reddingen. In Reddingen, turn left towards Reiningen. Drive through Reiningen and turn right towards Poitzen / Müden. In Poitzen, turn right towards Müden. Here you drive straight on towards the Posthotel. Please do not drive in the direction of Faßberg.

A2 from Berlin / Braunschweig

If you are coming from Berlin, leave the A2 at the Braunschweig Nord exit and take the B4 towards Uelzen. You will pass through the towns of Meine, Gifhorn and Groß Oesingen. In Sprakensehl turn left in the direction of Müden (still 30 km). You will leave the following towns behind you in the next few minutes: Hagen, Weyhausen, Unterlüß, Oberohe, Gerdehaus and Hankenbostel. Once there, do not turn off towards Faßberg, but continue straight on. In the town itself, stay on the main road until you see the Posthotel on the right-hand side.

A2 from the south-west

If you are travelling from the south-west, we recommend that you leave the A2 at the Hannover West junction by changing to the A352 (feeder road to the A7 towards Hamburg) and then continue on the A7 towards Hamburg. Leave the motorway at the Soltau Süd exit and take the B3 towards Bergen. After about four kilometres, turn right towards Wietzendorf (bypass road). Follow this road until you reach a crossroads. The train station in Unterlüß is 15 km away from our hotel. It is on the railway line between Hamburg and Hanover and the "Metronom" stops hourly in Unterlüß. From here you can get to us either by taxi or by bus.

Alternative railway stations in the immediate vicinity: Munster (20 km), Soltau (30 km), Celle (30 km)

The airports of Hamburg (100 km) and Hanover (90 km) are each about 1 hour's drive from our hotel.
