Check-in is available daily from 15:00 to 22:00. If you are arriving outside these times, we recommend getting in touch with the team in advance.
On the day of departure, you can leave your chalet or suite between 08:00 - 11:00. Depending on availability, individual late check-outs can be requested.

Yes, the chalets offer the Bergwald Golf Escape. Guests can, among other things, benefit from the Oberstaufen PLUS Golf card and free green fees at selected golf courses in the region. A shuttle to selected golf courses is also offered.
From the north:
Take the A7 motorway in a southerly direction. Take exit 137-Dreieck Allgäu to change to the A980 motorway in the direction of Lindau/Oberstdorf. Follow the A980 motorway to the Waltenhofen exit and continue on the B19 towards Immenstadt/Oberstaufen. In Immenstadt, change to the B308 and follow this until you reach Oberstaufen. From there, follow the signs to Steibis, where the Bergwaldchalets are located.
From the south:
Take the A96 motorway in the direction of Lindau and leave it at exit 3-Sigmarszell. Follow the B308 via Scheidegg and Lindenberg im Allgäu to Oberstaufen. Once in Oberstaufen, follow the signs to Steibis, where the Bergwaldchalets are located.
The best way to reach the Allgäu Bergwaldchalets by Romantik by train is via Oberstaufen railway station, from where you can then reach us by taxi or bus.
The nearest major airports are Munich and Zurich. From here, the best way to get here is by hire car.
