Easter with the family

To make your Easter days as beautiful as possible, we have 4 decoration tips for you to make your home cosy and festive. With a colourful and cheerful decoration, every home gets a spring-like charm and turns into a friendly nest.

Tip 1: Fresh flowers

Add colourful variety to your home with fresh flowers. Whether cut flowers such as tulips and daffodils in a beautiful vase or small forget-me-nots and violets in a flower pot - flowers are perfect for your Easter decorations at the table and also in the living room.

Tip 2: Easter shrub

The Easter shrub is an old custom for many and is considered a symbol of fertility as well as of spring triumphing over the cold and of life blossoming. In addition to the classic Easter shrub in the home, shrubs and small trees are also often decorated in the garden. A few simple steps are all that is needed to make a DIY Easter bush indoors. During a walk in the woods or in your own garden, birch or cherry branches or even willow catkins and forsythia are cut and then placed in a vase. Afterwards, the self-decorated Easter eggs can be tied with a short ribbon and hung on the branches.

Tip 3: Table decoration

In addition to Easter napkins, ordinary cloth napkins can also create a real Easter atmosphere at the table in just a few steps. Simply fold your cloth napkins as Easter bunnies. You can find instructions including pictures here. In addition to napkins in the shape of a bunny, homemade napkin rings with Easter motifs are also wonderful. Draw Easter bunnies or even butterflies and flowers on clay paper and cut them out. Online templates help here for particularly precise shapes. Then attach jute twine or any ribbon with 2 holes to the sides of the motif and tie around the napkin.
