This varied hiking route leads through idyllic villages, forests and along the Danube. You also pass the impressive Zollernalb with its characteristic limestone cliffs. The route not only offers beautiful nature, but also insights into regional culture and history, as it passes through historic towns such as Sigmaringen and Albstadt.

Albsteig: Traufgänge: The Albsteig: Traufgänge is a challenging hiking route in the Swabian Alb that stretches over 83 kilometres. It leads along the edge of the Albtrauf and offers breathtaking views of the landscape. The route runs through dense forests, across plateaus and past impressive rock formations such as the Urach waterfall. The different stages allow hikers to experience the diversity of the Swabian Alb, from picturesque valleys to impressive heights.

Heuberg Trail: The Heuberg Trail is a moderately difficult hiking route that leads through the picturesque landscape of the Heuberg. The route is around 20 kilometres long and offers hikers the opportunity to explore unspoilt nature, wide fields and small villages. The trail also leads to historical sights such as Hohenzollern Castle, which sits majestically on a mountain. The route offers a good mix of nature enjoyment and cultural highlights.

Swabian Alb North Rim Trail: The Swabian Alb North Rim Trail is an approximately 12-kilometre route that leads from Beuron to Fridingen an der Donau. The route runs along the Albtrauf and offers spectacular views of the Danube valley. Hikers also pass the imposing rocks of the Schaufelsen and have the opportunity to visit Beuron Monastery.

Eichfelsen circular trail: The Eichfelsen circular trail leads through the Upper Danube Nature Park and offers a pleasant hike of around 8 kilometres. The route leads through forests and along juniper heaths, offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. The Eichfelsen itself offers an impressive panoramic view over the Danube valley.
