"Ano Syros" refers to the higher, medieval-Catholic part of the main town and is a characteristic neighborhood with narrow streets, traditional houses and a picturesque atmosphere. Ano Syros offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the Aegean Sea. Historic churches and the charm of an old Greek settlement characterize this part of the city.
