200 Romantik hoteliers prepare for the future
In the first week of March, more than 200 Romantik hoteliers from ten European countries met in Dresden for the Romantik cooperative’s annual conference. Here, in the capital of Saxony, the hoteliers resolved to develop the Romantik brand to meet the digital challenges of the future.
A new website, which will soon go live, will be used to redefine the standards of direct online marketing. The team of experts led by the chairman of the board of directors, Thomas Edelkamp, presented a far-reaching sales and marketing campaign that will even include television adverts for Romantik Hotels, to be shown from April onwards, and international distribution channels. “This marks the start of a new chapter for Romantik,” says Edelkamp. “We are concentrating all our efforts on increasing brand awareness, ensuring excellent quality and securing more guests for our hotels. These are the standards by which we plan to measure our success.” Romantik has already managed to attract a number of new member hotels in 2016, which will benefit from the cooperative’s marketing power. Other prominent hotels across Europe are expected to join Romantik before the end of the year.
