Advanced trainings: Romantik initiates Europe-wide “LernCampus”
(10 December 2018) The 200 Romantik Hotels and 240 Restaurants send their employees on a “LernCampus” from now on several times a year. Just now the first implementation of the Europe-wide professional training format of the cooperation took place at Kniese family’s Romantik Hotel Zum Stern in Bad Hersfeld. 100 employees from the nine Romantik countries came to Hesse region and attended exciting trainings by renowned trainers, got to know news from the industry and exchanged experiences with colleagues from all of Europe.
Part of the agenda were topics like Online-Reputation, E-Mail-Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Loyalty Programs, Revenue Management, Complaint Handling, Banqueting Sales, Leadership, Telesales and Upselling.
“The goal of the Romantik LernCampus, henceforth taking place multiple times a year, is to familiar the employees of our usually family-run hotels and restaurants with new contents, developments and technologies and to inform about current issues of Romantik”, says Thomas Edelkamp, the cooperation’s chairman. Edelkamp was especially delighted by the huge engagement of the junior staff members and the strong solidarity and team spirit within the brand. “It was not only studied for three days but new friendships were built that are going to be cultivated at the next LernCampus or privately”, according to Edelkamp. The next Europe-wide training camp is set to be in St. Goar in the Romantik Hotel Schloss Rheinfels already end of February.
The success of the LernCampus is in great part also due to the host family Kniese who operate four hotels in Bad Hersfeld by now and ensured the perfect setting for the event. Especially, the culinary treats from the star-awarded cuisine of the house enchanted all participants.
The LernCampus was organized by the leading Andreas Ludwig who recently has been engaged as director of Romantik Hotel Schloss Rheinfels and is a demanded coach, consultant, speaker and marketing expert with his consulting firm Tradivision today.
