Breath-taking ski areas on 7.067 kilometres of slopes not only delight tourists in Switzerland: The Swiss themselves are true ski fans and profit from the great infrastructure of the ski areas with 1.813 lifts for their own extensive winter pleasures. In the Alps, St. Moritz is considered as the birthplace of winter tourism with the founding of the first ski school in 1929. Today, Switzerland is characterised by extensive ski resorts, which are often linked across individual regions and even national borders. The Alps cover 60 percent of the country's surface area and provide a fantastic offer for winter sports enthusiasts. The country's numerous ski resorts attract winter tourists year after year and convince with perfectly groomed slopes, super snow conditions and a unique mountain panorama.


In the heart of the Alps, the Davos Klosters ski hotspot unites five winter sports areas to form one of the largest in the Alps. Here, ski fans will find a total of 269 kilometres of slopes and perfect snow conditions in front of a fantastic mountain backdrop on a total of 80 slopes. A new chairlift recently connected the two ski areas of Davos and Klosters, making it possible to use the entire ski area quickly and easily.

Jungfrau Region

Flims-Laax-Falera is the largest winter sports area in Switzerland in terms of area and offers - for beginners as well as professionals - skiing fun on over 220 km of slopes. The most modern ski lifts take you uphill up to 3.018 metres. Thanks to its 68 kilometres of blue slopes and childcare, the ski area is very child-friendly.

Engadin St. Moritz

Numerous three-thousand-metre peaks and large mountain lakes make for an unforgettable skiing experience.
