Discover the medieval town of Feuchtwangen on a city walk. From the market square with its town houses and half-timbered houses via the 12th century cloister, where the famous festival takes place every year from mid-May to August, you will reach the collegiate church and St. John's Church. The Franconian Museum Feuchtwangen is one of the most beautiful and oldest landscape museums in southern Germany. An outpost of the museum are the historical craftsmen's rooms. Here abandoned workshops of Feuchtwangen craftsmen are shown.

Numerous cycling and hiking trails lead from Feuchtwangen through romantic Franconia. Explore the countryside on the Feuchtwanger Karpfenradweg or cycle along the Romantic Road to the medieval towns of Dinkelsbühl and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Several long-distance hiking trails and, more recently, two pilgrimage trails (Via Romea and the Jakobusweg of the Schwäbische Jakobusgesellschaft) also lead through the varied landscape.

Feuchtwangen and the Romantik Hotel Greifen-Post are located on the "Romantic Road" between Dinkelsbühl and Schillingsfürst or Rothenburg ob der Tauber, which are excellent destinations for excursions from Feuchtwangen. The Romantic Road is one of the best known and most popular vacation routes in Germany. It starts at the river Main, leads from the west of Franconia to the administrative district of Swabia, via the administrative district of Upper Bavaria to the German Alps and stretches over 420 km from Würzburg to Füssen. Important stopovers from a historical point of view or because of the scenic beauty near Feuchtwangen are Dinkelsbühl, Schillingsfürst or Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

In summer, the Franconian lake district around Brombachsea, Altmühlsea and Rothsea offers cooling from swimming fun to water sports.

Thousands of visitors fill the large fairground, which with its numerous rides, bratwurst and lottery booths, and the beer tent provides five days of exuberant atmosphere. The big Mooswiesen festival procession on Sunday is particularly popular, with its beautifully decorated floats and cheerfully performing music groups recalling Feuchtwangen's eventful past. The grand fireworks display on Tuesday evening brings the festival to a close.

The picturesque Christmas market on Advent weekends is an absolute highlight in the contemplative Advent season. No wonder, because it captivates with its romantic and cozy atmosphere. The illumination by a myriad of small lights on fir trees immerses the marketplace in Feuchtwangen in a feel-good atmosphere that invites every visitor to linger.
