Culinary at the Romantik Boutique Hotel Villa Sostaga
The heart of Villa Sostaga is the restaurant. And not just for the location, with a breath-taking view, but also because the Seresina family boasts a decade-long culinary tradition. An interesting fact: Martina, Gabriele's grandmother, was the trusted chef of the great poet and writer Gabriele D'Annunzio. The "Torta di Nonna Martina", prepared according to the original recipe, is still proposed in the menu.
On the panoramic veranda, in the Liberty lounge and in the Clarabella lounge you can taste Garda specialties. Francesco, Gabriele's son, will advise us on the best wine parings. Passionate about vintages and a sommelier, he suggests the best accompaniment for the different dishes, choosing among the 300 labels kept in the cellar. In addition, tastings are organized that offer the chance to sip samples of outstanding wintages and converse amiably.
