The Black Forest from its most beautiful side!
The tradition lives on! The beautiful country house was built in 1603 as a Black Forest farm and supplied the St. Blasien monastery as a flour mill until the 18th century. The stream that used to drive the mill wheel flows past the hotel terrace into the Schluchsee, as it has done for ages. The large garden is a wonderful place to unwind, and hiking trails into the green surroundings start directly in front of the hotel. The restaurant, which has been awarded a Michelin star, places great value on applied craftsmanship, the careful selection of products and their quality.
