At a glance the Moulin des Ruats
Windows down, the road led us to Avallon. We took up residence in this old 18th century mill. Dinner was a simple, delicious affair, with local specialities prepared by the chef Stephanie Moreau. Later, the murmur of the river scarcely troubled the wonderfully romantic countryside setting and the calm of the night. We left the next day in the crisp Morvan morning, windows down again, happy.
