At a glance the Château du Colombier
Close to the corsair town and its idyllic beaches, Château du Colombier is one of the largest follies built by the ship-owners of Saint-Malo. The beautiful building retains its authentic finery dating back to the 18th century. Wood panelling, 18th century allegorical paintings, a monumental, richly adorned oak staircase and open fireplaces whisk guests away to a setting reminiscent of a lavish era. The spacious, light-filled rooms with their waxed parquet floors are perfect for a romantic stay. The six-hectare, flower-filled park comes complete with a large terrace, a lake and even a chapel and is completely dedicated to peace and quiet, rest and well-being.
