All double rooms have numerous historical details and some have a wonderful view over the Rhine. Depending on availability, you can stay in our Rheinblick double room on the 1st floor with a stuccoed ceiling, original clay floor, walnut room doors and a painted Zurich cupboard from the 18th century, or in our Hirschsprung double room on the 2nd floor with a small anteroom and alcove-like sleeping area, antique Wooden strap floor and a painted, double-door baroque cabinet from the region. Our Schwalbennest double rooms are on the 3rd floor with an integrated semi-open bathroom, bourgeois baroque furniture and a baroque Zurich coffered ceiling from the mid-18th century, as well as an exposed stuccoed window front and clay tile floor.

The junior suites - the Belle Epoque Junior Suite with a high bedroom/living room in a warm red tone and antique furniture as well as a stucco ceiling from 1860 and the Festsaal Junior Suite, which extends over the entire floor from the city side to the Rhine side and next to it a multicolored early baroque tendril painting on the ceiling and grisaille painting on the walls and window niche, an antique clay tile floor and striking furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries, also a bathroom with a nostalgic tub and shower - enchant with their panoramic view over the Rhine.

The suites reflect the era of the 18th century. The Green Suite impresses with a large living room from the mid-18th century with original, green baroque panelling, a richly carved clock case, a simple paneled ceiling and a striking stone window column. The Green Suite is rounded off by a separate bedroom with a stucco ceiling, antique furniture and a view of the town. The Täfer Suite also faces the city side. This welcomes you with baroque paneling from the 18th century made of untreated pine wood and an early baroque window column from the demolished powder tower in Eglisau as well as a separate bedroom with a stucco ceiling and selected antique pieces from around 1750.
