Within the Romantik cooperation the year 2010 is all about the 35th anniversary of Romantik Hotels & Restaurants in Austria.

After the foundation of Romantk Hotels & Restaurants in Germany in 1972 the first Austrian hotels enter the cooperation in 1975 already. With the Romantik Hotel Almtalhof in Grünau, the Romantik Hotel Post in Villach and the Romantik Hotel Vergeiner's Traube in Lienz three of these Austrian first members are still members today.

At the moment there are 19 hosts who welcome you with the typical Romantik philosophy and friendliness in the alpine republic. Most of them are to be found in Tyrol. The state combines impressive seas of rocks, fertile mountain pastures, clear mountain springs and mysterious mountain lakes and is therefore the ideal place especially for active holiday-makers.
