Situated in the former cloth town of Meerane, which according to weather records enjoys more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in Germany, the Hotel Schwanefeld offers its guests enjoyment and well-being surrounded by parkland and imposing factory owners' villas. The border between the German states of Saxony and Thüringen runs directly through this historic half-timbered house which was once a customs station with inn and is today a comfortable, lovingly furnished hotel with gourmet restaurant, Kutscherstube restaurant, in-house patisserie and barn.
